We started this project on a lark but soon realized that
it would have a very practical application as well. Until the house construction
is finished with its civilized in-door plumbing, this little guy is going
to serve a less glamorous function. Afterwards it will serve as a convenience
stop for guests who visit with outdoor activities in mind. It was also
a great way to practice our building skills. We were able to work out
some of the questions that we had regarding the use of the log siding
that we had picked out for the house.
There were two requirements:
1. It had to look as good and follow a theme as we expected the other
"major" buildings on the property to look.
2. It must not smell like an outhouse!
